Appointment Instructions
Making Your Appointment
To set up an appointment for an abortion, call Dr. Yoffa's
office at 315-432-1048 between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday through
Friday. We can usually schedule you within two to three days of
your call. We will need to know when the first day of your last
menstrual period was. You are welcome to call us with any
questions you may have prior to actually scheduling your
appointment.
Confidentiality
Our staff will not discuss your appointment with anyone
outside our office. You can be assured of our complete
confidentiality. We will require a phone number, in case we need
to change your appointment, but we will only speak directly with
you. Also, you will be called from the waiting room using your
first name only.
Consent
Abortion is legal for women of all ages and parental or
spousal consent is not required in New York State.
Fees and Payment
Payment is expected at the time of your appointment; we accept
cash, money orders, Visa, Mastercard or Discover. Personal
checks are not accepted. We participate with most
insurance plans with prior verification and proper referrals. If
you have insurance please tell us when you call for your
appointment.
